Description We are inviting applications for the role of Systems Analyst based in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is central to our operations, responsible for monitoring, updating, and maintaining the operational status of core system hardware, software, and telecommunications. The Systems Analyst will also handle the development of queries and dashboards to support end users and ensure the integrity of data for our organization.Responsibilities: Monitor, update, and maintain the operational status of core system hardware, software, and telecommunications. Process information with a high degree of accuracy to ensure the integrity of data for the organization. Develop and execute automated scripts for periodic scheduled core processing jobs and organizational projects. Monitor daily operations and corresponding peripheral equipment for unusual activity or errors and report unusual activity or non-routine errors to the supervisor. Collaborate with the IT Department to install approved basic upgrades to the core system software. Coordinate with vendors to perform hardware or software updates and modify system tables and parameters as needed. Assist with the testing of the system as a result of any change and communicate the impacts of changes to the core system to staff. Enter work orders into the help desk system and monitor outstanding assigned work orders to ensure proper service levels are maintained. Develop and maintain a current knowledge of the core system and other core system elements, procedures, processes, and operations. Assist Network/PC Specialists in staging, deployment of PCs, printers, and other hardware.Skills: Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, Microsoft, AB Testing, Business Requirement Document, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Symitar, Python, Python Scripting, C. Requirements Proven experience in the role of a Systems Analyst or similar. Proficient in Database and DB2 Database operations. Familiarity with EO/IR systems. Proficiency with IBM and Microsoft tools and platforms. Experience with AB Testing methodologies. Ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Documents. Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management. Experience with Deployments and Symitar. Proficiency in Python and Python Scripting. Knowledge of C programming language. Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
