Immediate opening for an experienced chef or sous chef ready to move to the next level. Not a corporate store. Family owned and operated. Ideal candidate will be calm, mature and enjoy working in a relaxing, yet busy restaurant. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days/week with a full bar.
The successful candidate will report to the owner and be responsible to:
Cook
Manage associates in hiring, scheduling, training, motivating and job reviews within labor budget
Maintain kitchen and equipment to ensure sanitation and maintenance
Manage menu to control food cost, reduce waste, and ensure kitchen efficiency
Ensure guest satisfaction by consistently producing quality dishes according to recipe
Purchasing, receiving and inventory control
Assist in menu development
