I'm looking for an experienced kitchen manager. A Kitchen manager that is work driven. Someone who will take pride in their work and deliver the best service to guests. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the efficient and effective running of your team. Your role will involve managing food preparation, maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness, and collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all kitchen staff.
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with company recipes and guidelines.
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and within budget.
Oversee kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to maintain and improve skill levels.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to coordinate food service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor and control food costs to achieve financial goals.
Handle scheduling and labor management for the kitchen team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a busy restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Ability to manage a team effectively and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment.
Have reliable transportation and reliable communication.
6+ years of Kitchen work, minimum 2+ years of management experience.
