Publix s Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. Mobile Infrastructure Engineering involves defining, developing, implementing, and supporting mobile devices within the Publix information technology architecture.

• Software and hardware architecture design, installation, configuration, integration, and support
• Enterprise system management
• Problem determination and resolution
• Project team leadership and participation
• Technical leadership with other engineers in specific disciplines
• New technology awareness, research, and system integration with a focus on system security

• Bachelor s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience,
• Two years of experience supporting one (or more) of the following: Android, Windows, iOS, and/or macOS operating systems and hardware platforms in a large corporate environment.

• in-depth experience using a mobile device management (MDM) or enterprise mobility management (EMM) tool to manage devices,
• scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, and/or JavaScript,
• in-depth knowledge of Android-based client hardware (Honeywell, Zebra, Samsung),
• experience securing diverse technologies, platforms, and applications,
• experience supporting mobile devices in a large environment,
• in-depth experience implementing, migrating, managing, and administering the Android operating systems in a large corporate environment,
• experience forecasting, planning, and managing hardware and software budgets,
• ability to anticipate and identify issues that conflict with security and compliance requirements,
• ability to resolve complex business and technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment,
• in-depth understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies,
• experience leading projects from requirements through implementation,
• experience working in a process structured environment which includes Change Management, Incident/ Problem Management and Disaster Recovery Preparedness
