Key Responsibilities:
Work and supervise commercial landscaping projects, including installations and maintenance.
Manage and direct crew members to complete tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation work, hardscaping, mulching, tree trimming, and cleanup.
Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and site maps.
Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and deadlines.
Monitor crew productivity, work quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Coordinate equipment, tools, and materials for assigned job sites.
Communicate with the Operations Manager or Project Manager regarding job progress, delays, and issues.
Train new crew members and provide on-the-job guidance.
Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and basic job site documentation
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a foreman or crew leader role is required.
Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and equipment operation.
Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Valid Driver’s License required; CDL is a plus.
Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Certifications:
FNGLA Certified Landscape Technician (CLT)
MOT Certification
Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
