Description We are offering a role based in Melbourne, Florida, 32904, United States, for a Staff Accountant in the telecom industry. The role will involve a range of accounting duties, including maintaining the General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and assisting with month-end close. This role is a short-term contract and is ideally suited to individuals with proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Compile and prepare Financial Reporting documents, adhering to company and industry standards Assist in the completion of month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and analysis Process and handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to verify the company's records are accurate Prepare and post Journal Entries as required Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and QuickBooks to streamline processes Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations in all tasks Work collaboratively with the accounting team to improve systems and processes. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Skilled in managing General Ledger Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries Expertise in executing Month End Close procedures Familiarity with QuickBooks software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with accounting standards and regulationsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
