Description Are you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk seeking a new role? Then this employment opportunity offered through Robert Half may be for you. Located in Miami, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Major responsibilities
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Help with internal and external audits as required
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Execute full-cycle A/P
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Excellent attention to detail
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Clerical Duties experience required
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Yardi Software experience
Adeptness in Microsoft Office Suites
Receptionist Duties experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
