The Advanced Technician Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Advance Technician of the area is a group lead accountable for maintaining product flow, quality, work schedules, continuous improvement and morale within their assigned operating work area. It is also responsible for developing, coaching and motivating the teams to achieve quality and compliance excellence goals, teamwork, maintaining a positive and safe working environment, and cost-effective operations. The Adv Technician is a lead also drives continuous improvement initiatives and projects.This position is part of the Microscan located in Miami, Kendall and will be position on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Microscan team and report to the Supervisor Production Operation responsible for the first level supervision and coordinates activities of employees engaged in production for one or more lines. Works closely with Engineering staff to solve problems related to production within the Microscan Mfg. area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Ensures compliance with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements for self and team.

Investigate root cause of non-conformances, identify and execute corrective actions by expected completion date Schedules employees for assigned cells including overtime assignments, and for maintaining balance in staffing needs across assigned work cells.

Actively works to resolve daily tactical issues that may adversely affect work unit performance. Conduct and lead regular and ongoing team meetings.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience

Intermediate computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Basic knowledge of lean principles.

Experience in training other associates/assemblers in a manufacturing environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Communicating manufacturing updates/reports to leadership

Previous experience in regulated industry Medical Device, Bio- Medical or Pharmaceutical

Knowledge of compliance audit procedures for production areas and the ability to provide corrective actions
