Logistic Coordinator

Description Robert Half has an opening for a logistic coordinator. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in logistics, organization, and problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including shipments, inventory control, and transportation.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, shipping companies, and other key stakeholders.

Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery, addressing any delays or issues that arise.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipment schedules, and delivery confirmations.

Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork (if applicable).

Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure that materials and products are ready for shipment.

Optimize shipping methods and routes to reduce costs while maintaining timely deliveries.

Address customer inquiries and resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies.

Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory management and transportation coordination.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in fast-paced environments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work flexible hours if needed, including evenings or weekends.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field is preferred.
