Handyman Job Description
Position: Handyman - one day per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman. The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in general maintenance, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Pool, lawn, car cleaning, conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
Perform minor repairs and fixes on equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
Handle painting and touch-up work to maintain the appearance of the property.
Inspect and identify issues such as leaks, cracks, and damages, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and other items as required.
Conduct basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems and make minor adjustments.
Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Respond promptly to repair requests from property managers or residents.
Keep records of completed tasks and materials used for documentation purposes.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while working on-site.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Handyman or in a related maintenance role.
Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Knowledge of basic HVAC systems and troubleshooting is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings, as needed.
