In the role of Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the housekeeping department. Additionally, ensuring that the highest degree of quality is always maintained.What you'll doEnsure all departmental service standards and sequences of service are being upheld.Work collaboratively with all housekeeping partners on a day-to-day basis.Maintain a close relationship with the Front Office and Engineering Team.Ensure guest satisfaction - address guest issues as they arise and provide prompt correspondence if necessary.Keep control of daily financial reports, updating profit and loss for each month end.Control departmental operating expenses and labor costs, improving departmental revenues when possible. Monitor all labor and payroll costs.Keep controls of purchasing system(s).Observe, teach, and develop team members.Ensured all grounds are maintained to standard of service and design. Train and develop team to meet standards.Manage Capital Expenditure projects directed to housekeeping areas.Create new initiatives to improve the efficiency of guest standards and operational improvements.Establish relationships with other companies in the hospitality industry.
