Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framer to join our construction team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the skeletal framework of walls for residential garages, ensuring their stability and durability. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Measure and cut framing materials according to specifications -
Assemble and install framework components -
Ensure the accuracy and quality of the framing work -
Perform layout duties, including marking and cutting studs and plates.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area -
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines -
Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes
Requirements
Proven experience as a Framer in the construction industry -
In-depth knowledge of framing techniques and materials -
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents -
Proficiency in using hand and power tools -
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions -
Strong attention to detail and accuracy -
Effective communication and teamwork skills
