CAFÃ MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
ï· Monitors sales growth and cost control of the café against the budgeted
expectation and historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.
ï· Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
ï· Presents a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by maintaining
all sanitation and appearance standards.
ï· Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials.
Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.
ï· Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and
initiating local store marketing campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
ï· Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual
field required.
ï· Experience recruiting, hiring, training and developing employees.
ï· Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.
ï· Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house
and back of the house.
ï· Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor.
ï· Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.
ï· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
ï· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
ï· Servsafe® Certification preferred.
