This is a posting for a vacation rental inspector on Saturdays during the tourist season from March to October.
We are a small vacation rental management company with ten houses we manage right in the Destin/Miramar Beach area. Most of the homes are near each other and right off Scenic highway 98 in Crystal Beach. Here are some facts about the job:
-It is every Saturday during the season from 9AM-5:30PM. There is no lunch. We may start as early as 8AM some Saturdays if there is an early checkout.
-You must have your own car and have reliable transportation.
-The job would entail fully inspecting 3-4 homes to make sure all the amenties are set up correctly, there is no damage from previous guests, and possibly preparing the back yard for arrival. Some of the common tasks include making sure tvs work, making sure no furnitue damaged, making sure no light bulbs out. Reorganizing outside furniture. No direct maintenance would need to be done but the person should be able to change light bulbs, be familiar with working televisions, etc.
The type of person that would excel at this job is someone who has a very sharp attention to detail and has good organization skills. There is a checklist to go through and it is very important that each item is checked appropriately so we don't get upset guests about things not working or lights out etc.
The pay is $35.hour which would work out to about $315 per Saturday. Work is guaranteed on Saturdays duing the season of March - October 22. This is a good position for someone looking for part time Saturday work on that day.
This would be a 1099 independent contractor job. We are looking for someone with a clean record and good employment history.
