We are a growing land development company specializing in land infrastructure improvements across Central Florida. We are currently seeking an construction accounting experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role involves managing financial transactions. Currently this is a remote work from home job, in future it may require one or two days of in person office time. MUST have CONSTRUCTION Accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily financial tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and more
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Administer payables and communicate with vendors
File and maintain records
Answer phone calls and assist with office communications
Manage office supply purchases
Ensure licensing and certification requirements are up to date
Prepare payapps for submittal, review payapps submitted for payment
- Prepare lien releases
- Assist CFO in preparing payment draws from lender
- Assist CFO in preparing cash flow analyses
- Track tenant rental and other payments
- Review property tax bills for accuracy and communicate with local govt officials
- Assist CFO in financing efforts and fulfill lender requested items
Requirements:
- Must have Construction Accounting Experience
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Strong Excel skills
Must pass a background check
Fluent in English and Spanish
