JOB SUMMARY: The Analyst II is a key member of the UPT Asset Management team, responsible for all aspects of the hardware and software asset lifecycle including quotes, order management, asset assignments, RMAs, receiving, inventory, shipping, order fulfillment, asset recovery, and disposal. The Asset Management Analyst II will utilize established documentation, procedures, and available inventory management and ITSM service management applications to complete hardware and software assignment requests, perform regularly scheduled audits of physical & digital assets, assist with the testing and approvals of hardware and software assets, and assist with daily warehouse logistics. The Analyst II will be required to update and maintain detailed records and process documentation, and exercise proper email etiquette to effectively communicate with our business partners and team members.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for quotes, orders, and regular status updates for hardware and software purchase requests.

Utilize existing ITSM and inventory management systems to process requests for hardware and software including new hire, refresh, transfer, and project requests.

Assist with hardware testing and validation including review/sign-off from IT Security, Legal, Field Services, and various business partners, and physical evaluation of hardware against approved specifications and project requirements.

Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings, training and compliance sessions, and appropriate collaboration sessions with UPT and business partners; regularly review and analyze team metrics and reporting for awareness and measurement of key business objectives and service level agreements.

Assist with reviewing and writing process, procedure, and approved asset documentation for consistent team performance, compliance, and training.

Responsible for reconciling and quality control checks on description and assignments to verify asset and inventory policies are adhered to by all team members.

Assist with IT asset creation & tagging, weekly order fulfillment, asset recovery, and disposal.

Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Technical school or Associates degree (AA) is preferred.

Military classes or equivalent training.

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years in asset management, inventory management, or warehouse logistics with a strong understanding of ITSM/inventory management and discovery tools;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.
