Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.  This individual must possess and adhere to the following core values:Integrity – Doing the right thing when no one is looking.Passion – Creating a positive impact.Work Ethic – Taking pride in your work.As an Engineering Technician I, you will:Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.Provide general support by performing basic tasks such as painting, caulking, and wall repairs.Perform basic plumbing diagnostics on toilets, bathtubs, Jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks, including unclogging.Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace light bulbs, and measure available voltage using appropriate tools.Install and/or replace TVs, troubleshoot issues, and program remote controls, TVs, and other electronic devices.Diagnose appliances, replace minor components, and assist with complete replacements as needed.Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site.Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools needed for the job.Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).Follow safety guidelines and practices.Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
