Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Business Area is seeking a Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Lead Engineer to join our team at our Orlando, Florida site.Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.MFC in ActionKey responsibilities for this exciting role include:- Manage schedule execution of Guidance Section product development activities to support program milestones and test events. This includes coordination across subsystem IPT activities, accounting for vertical and horizontal IPT integration. Focus areas include design completion, hardware deliveries, hardware/software integration, risk management, barrier removal, and milestone management. The I&T Engineer will be required to play a major role in supporting program objectives for affordability.-Coordination with customers and program leadership to provide status and paths forward for issue resolution as necessary.- Support the Guidance Section IPT Lead for all leadership roles/activities with LOB management, the customer, and sub-IPT leads.To be considered for this role you must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this position.The Locale: Orlando is a great place to live and to raise a family. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.Basic Qualifications:Have a background in mechanical, electrical, integration & test, or systems engineering.Experience in Guidance Section technologies for missile systems.Experience in coordinating large complex efforts across multi-functional organizations.Be an effective communicator to all levels of an organization.Must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.Desired Skills:The following are desired skills and capabilities for Systems Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
