Position Overview:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. You must be bilingual (English – Spanish). This role involves managing the production team, optimizing processes, and maintaining our commitment to producing the finest products. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in food manufacturing and a passion for delivering exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
Manage and lead the production team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while maintaining product quality.
Monitor and optimize workflows to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.
Track and analyze production data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and minimizing downtime.
Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate records.
Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and food safety regulations.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with chocolate or confectionery manufacturing is a plus.
