Looking for an enthusiastic, long-term caregiver for 75 year old male who suffered a stroke 6 years ago. He recovered exceptionally well but still needs assistance with his daily care due to right sided weakness and speech limitations. He lives at home with his wife in Lake Mary. They are looking for someone reliable and caring.
Excellent location! Walking distance to shopping and leisure. His routine is hands-on and very well organized. Paid training is provided for caregivers.
Primary duties include assistance with personal care, AM bath for morning shifts, medication reminders, meal prep, and companionship throughout the day to stay healthy and active. Also requires mobility assistance (repositioning, transferring to bed/chair/toilet with use of a standing frame). He uses a power chair during the day and enjoys walks to the nearby coffee shops or sitting out on his porch by the pool.
Salary: Starting $19 per hour. Employees are paid via direct deposit (or payroll card) bi-weekly by payroll. Must allow taxes to be withdrawn (no exceptions).
Recurring Schedule::
- TUESDAYS - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- WEDNESDAYS - 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- THURSDAYS - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- ALTERNATING WEEKENDS - Every other Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM.
Major Holidays are paid at 1.5 times your regular hourly rate.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent Attendance and reliable means of transportation.
- Must be able to Pass a level 2 Background check (provided by Employer)
