Small condominium community in the heart of Maitland needs a part-time maintenance contractor. You will be 1099 contractor. Must have or able to get workmans comp and/or exemption. Handyman liability insurance required. Good opportunity to start your own company. Other opportunities available.
PART-TIME: 15 to 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri START TIME IS 8:30 OR 9 am
90% of your duties will be outside.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Pick up trash, empty trash bins, and replace trash bags.
2. Blow, sweep, pressure wash, and clean sides of buildings, stairs, sidewalks and breezeways. Clean light globes, remove cobwebs, and otherwise ensure the cleanliness of building exteriors and areas around and between buildings. Pressure wash building walls, breezeways, sidewalks, and other assigned areas.
3. Clean pool and deck surfaces, and remove debris. Skim pool as needed.
4. Test irrigation systems and make simple repairs as required.
5. Perform Landscape tasks as assigned. Pull weeds and vines. Trim plants and plants.
6. Observe property grounds and notify supervisor of safety hazards, property damage or unsightly conditions on grounds. Notify supervisor of the need to replenish materials and supplies when low. Store and maintain supplies and materials in keeping with procedures and standards.
7. Painting
8. Clean clubhouse and bathrooms regularly.
9. Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior property maintenance: 1 year
KNOWLEDGE:
Simple reference use of lists, service requests. Duties require knowledge equivalent to basic high school or GED education.
Background check is required.
