National firm currently seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys in our Litigation department based in Orlando. This role provides high-level administrative support to attorneys, contributing to the efficient delivery of legal services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide executive-level administrative support including scheduling, meeting coordination, and client communicationsFormat and prepare legal documents for filing, including Tables of Contents and Authorities; file and serve documents in state and federal courtsScreen calls, correspondence, and visitors; respond to routine inquiries and provide information as neededManage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel and conference arrangementsMaintain client files (physical and electronic) using NetDocs; follow up on pending mattersGreet clients and guests, ensuring meeting materials are prepared in advanceDraft correspondence and assist with client billingProofread and format documents for accuracy and consistencyPrepare packages for delivery via mail, messenger, or overnight servicesSubmit conflict checks and enter new client/matter information in OPEN; prepare engagement lettersProcess expense reports and disbursement formsPerform routine filing and retrieve files upon requestCommunicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff across all levelsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, ideally in a law firm settingExperience with electronic court filings is strongly preferredBeacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: https://jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com/eeoc/Completion of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
