Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator specializing in signs to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication or a strong willingness to learn the trade. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating custom signage using various metalworking techniques, including cutting, welding, bending, and finishing.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal signs according to client requirements.
Operate metalworking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Cut, weld, bend, and shape metal components to create high-quality signage.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in metal fabrication or a strong willingness to learn the trade.
Proficiency in operating metalworking machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure and cut metal components.
Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment is a plus.
