Bar None Creations is a vibrant and popular Nightclubs and bars in downtown Orlando. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons. As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Bar Security Personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Bar Security Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff, and property within the premises. Your primary duties will include:
Monitoring and Surveillance: Keep a vigilant eye on the premises to identify and respond promptly to any potential security threats, disturbances, or suspicious activities.
Crowd Control: Maintain order and control during busy hours, ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.
ID Verification: Check identification to verify the age of patrons and enforce the bar's entry policies.
Bag Checks: Conduct thorough bag checks to prevent the entry of prohibited items.
Ejecting Unruly Patrons: Take necessary steps to remove unruly or disruptive individuals from the premises while adhering to established protocols and maintaining professionalism.
Communication: Effectively communicate with other security personnel, bar staff, and management to address and resolve security issues.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly and responsibly in the event of emergencies, including but not limited to medical incidents, fights, or fire alarms.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, directions, and other requests in a courteous manner.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
Security Certification: Must have a valid Florida security certification/license.
Experience: Previous experience in a security role, particularly in a bar or nightclub setting, is preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
Physical Fitness: The ability to stand for extended periods, perform routine patrols, and intervene physically if necessary.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to effectively identify and address potential security risks.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other security personnel and bar staff.
