Job Title: Quality Engineer
Primary responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day operations of all quality functions: inspection, supplier management, quality engineering, corrective/preventative actions, production documentation, product traceability and safety.
Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound decisions regarding production quality.
Directly responsible for ensuring PARADIGM operations complies with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, company policies and procedures, and contractual obligations in relation to applicable quality standards.
Researches and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety that are in-line with PARADIGM’s goals and objectives. Performs periodic reviews and updates to standards to ensure continuing currency and relevance to operations in relation to quality compliance standards and performance.
Responsible for the implementation of company-wide quality improvement efforts and standards which will identify potential risks and vulnerability, followed by corrective action plans for resolution and general guidance to avoid non-compliant situations in the future.
Determines and enforces quality and safety requirements in accordance with real company needs, based on current regulations and state-of-the-art product development. Provides guidance for operations on all matters related to quality compliance, and responsible for implementing necessary preventative measures, actions, and safe work practices to achieve quality compliance standards.
Utilize test and measuring equipment with inspection procedures and techniques to determine if raw materials, WIP and finished goods meet customer requirements.
Facilitate ISO-9001 quality-related investigations and lead customer complaint investigations regarding quality rejects.
