Serpro Logistics is looking for Warehouse Associates - NON-FORKLIFT in our Pensacola, FL location to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, load and unload customer merchandise in the most safe and efficient manner to ensure careful handling of product.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 7am 4pm; 40+ hours per week
Responsibilities & Duties
Operate pallet jacks, clamp truck, or other power equipment to safely and carefully load, unload, move, stack, store and stage inbound and outbound merchandise from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices or other transport vehicles
Safely and efficiently move merchandise by hand or with available equipment when necessary
Label and pack outgoing products, equipment and other items
Ensure that product is not damaged in process of loading or unloading merchandise
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
Pull and prepare product for shipment as scheduled, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions as required.
Maintain the facilitys equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily or when necessary.
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Keep appropriate records, logs and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
Assist in physical inventories when necessary by verifying inventory computations, comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigating discrepancies and adjusting errors.
Required Education
HS Diploma or Equivalency
Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications
Minimum 1 year experience in inventory or warehouse functions
Ability to follow detailed written instruction and documented procedures
Team player who works productively with wide range of people
Ability to recognize and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes

Talking, hearing, repetitive hand motions, standing, walking, sitting climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, lifting and eye/hand/foot coordination.
Medium to heavy physical exertion and medium to heavy physical effort frequently required.
Must have the ability to lift the following: 50 lbs on a daily basis; 75 lbs on a regular basis and 100 lbs on an occasional basis.
Must have the ability to push and pull (including effort used with pallet jack) on smooth concrete floor: skids weighing 500 lbs on a daily basis; skids weighting 1000 lbs on a regular basis; and skids weighting 1500 lbs on an occasional basis.
Must be able to climb ladder and be comfortable working from dock and heights.
Must be comfortable working in tight areas and awkward positions.
