Newco Construction of America, Inc., a national General Contractor, is seeking a Project Manager for Open Store Retail Remodel/Expansion Construction Projects with Walmart Remodel/Expansion experience. Position is at our Home Office in Roswell, GA. Travel required. Full Benefits.
Newco Construction performs Open Store Remodel Construction and Tenant Build-out projects for Walmart, Sam’s Club, Publix, CVS, Family Dollar, Diana Health, Fat Tuesday, Grocery Outfitters, Belk and many others.
Duties:
Manage Projects from Estimate/Bid Award to Closeout
Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
Predict resources needed to complete project
Manage costs in order to meet budget
Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
Manage construction schedule and activities
Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
Requirements:
Prior Walmart Remodel Experience beneficial (Open Store Remodel and Expansions)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management software/tools
Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Strong Leadership and team management skills
