Description We are seeking an Accounting Specialist for our manufacturing team located in Pompano Beach, Florida. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial health by ensuring the timely and accurate recording and reporting of our financial transactions. Responsibilities: Manage financial systems to ensure all employee expenses are tracked, processed, and reported accurately, adhering to company's policies and procedures Assist in the preparation of customer invoices, ensuring all invoices are issued on time and paid promptly Liaise with clients, intercompany contacts, and other financial representatives, fostering strong relationships and promoting good customer service Manipulate large data sets using advanced Excel functionalities to develop periodic reports and analyses Actively involve in resolving any financial discrepancies by analyzing and comparing data Collaborate with international colleagues, managing diverse relationships and fostering positive communication across global offices Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and keeping financial information confidential Participate in setting financial standards and in the forecast process Utilize accounting software systems, such as ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Great Plains, ADP - Financial Services, and ERP Solutions for efficient execution of accounting functions Oversee processes related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) while adhering to auditing standards and maintaining budget processes.Requirements Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must. Familiarity with ERP Solutions is needed. Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable. Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is mandatory. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Knowledge and experience in Auditing is essential.
