Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance. This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLC)/Service Contract Act (SCA). ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
Leads logistics personnel, ensures coordination of compliant and expedited inbound, internal, and global logistics services. Manages all warehouses and inventories; tracks all CDSS inventory assets; and oversee storage, distribution, and transportation of all equipment, parts, and supplies. Manages integrated logistic support for CDSS.
Required QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
US Citizen
Proficient in English, verbal and written
High school diploma or GED
Six Years of logistics Experience with practical experience in various Asset Management Systems, Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) and Defense Property Accountability System functions to include a min of four years’ experience as a Supply Liaison/technician.
Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The position may require travel CONUS and OCONUS.In some occasions, overnight travel may be required.
Active Passport.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.
Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
Work may be physically comfortable; the employee may havediscretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site .
Must be able to perform site visits and carry a laptop computer and other required tools.
May also work in an industrial environment with heavy machinery and moving parts.
