RN/LPN Position Description
Provide direct nursing care assigned by and under the direction of RN Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director.
Required Skills & Experience:
Current registered or practical nurse licensure in the state of Florida.
LPN: Prefer six months to one year of medical-surgical experience in hospital or nursing home.
RN: Prefer at least one year medical/surgical experience.
Current CPR certification.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide direct nursing care as ordered by the physician and supervised by the RN/Clinical Supervisor.
Observe the patient for significant changes in condition and report to the RN/Clinical Supervisor.
Carry out written or verbal orders for medication or treatment as prescribed by the physician and supervised by the RN/Clinical Supervisor.
Document in the clinical record regarding patients condition and response to physician ordered medication or treatment.
Assist with patient/family education following the direction of the RN/Clinical Supervisor.
Fulfill all duties outlined in the nursing care plan.
Contribute to development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of the nursing care plan.
Other related duties as assigned.
