Job Description
Our fun, specialty practice in Melbourne is looking for a dental assistant. We offer great benefits and a team-spirited staff. Our practice is looking for an experienced (at least 1 year) and dependable dental assistant who will continue to make our office a pleasant patient experience through ensuring excellent care and customer service.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office and properly coordinate patients to their rooms
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments and undertake tasks as instructed
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
Dental Assistant Requirements
- Proven experience as dental assistant, recent graduates will be considered
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma, EFDA certification and Radiology
