We're on the lookout for dynamic individuals to fill the role of Seasonal Midway Cashier, where you'll not only handle ticket and armband transactions but also contribute significantly to the overall customer experience. As a Midway Cashier, you'll be at the center of the action, ensuring seamless transactions and spreading joy with every sale. If you have a knack for accuracy, enjoy working in a vibrant environment, and are ready to be an essential part of the fair magic, we want you on our team! Join us in creating unforgettable moments at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for the sale of Florida State Fair ride tickets and armbands.
-Main point of contact with customers
-Other additional duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in cashiering, cash handling and /or cash and credit card transactions. Minimum of one year experience in customer service.

Requirements:
-Must be able to work during the 2025 Florida State Fair February 6th-17th 2025.
-Opportunity to work available during the 2025 Super RV Show January 15th-19th.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Customer service skills are a must.
-Must know how to use a computer and balance a cash drawer
-Experience with touch screen POS a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Operates computer and standard office equipment, such as a telephone. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, occasionally climb or balance and lift or move (more than 20 pounds). Rare occasion for environmental exposure to wetness and humidity.
