Sharp Design Studio is looking for an Architecture Associate with moderate experience in drafting basic sets of working drawings from hard lined design development to construction documents. This person should possess a basic knowledge of residential construction and have a general understanding of Architectural Graphic Standards.
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and implement architectural designs from conception to construction completion to ensure consistency in design under the supervision of project architect/project manger.
Manage and assist with work on all phases of various architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination and correlation of construction drawings and review production drawings and specifications.
Process Plan Change Requests and reproduce accurate deliverables per Client Request.
Use latest version of ACAD and SDS Drafting Standards to maintain construction drawings.
Accurately revise drawings per redlines provided by client/team.
Minimum Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience of on-the-job architectural drafting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required
Candidates should be comfortable with construction documentation.
Have proficiency and ability to develop projects in the latest AutoCAD.
Photoshop, Sketchup and rendering software is a plus.
Hold an experienced understanding of building codes, zoning, and planning regulations.
Ability to effectively communicate; oral and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, timed environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-check for accuracy.
This is an in-house on-site position. No Remote Work.
