Description:
We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Restaurant Host to greet and seat guests at our establishment. The Restaurant Host will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a warm and welcoming demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of restaurant operations are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, taking into account table availability and server assignments
Communicate with guests regarding wait times and any special requests or accommodations
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby and host area
Assist servers and other staff members as needed to ensure a positive dining experience for guestsHandle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of reservation systems is a plus
