AREA MANAGER:
This Position requires the applicant to travel to various job sites through the state of Florida and and Georgia to perform on site supervision and direction of all applications including pressure washing, surface prep, painting, coating and linings to water and wastewater facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Train, work along-side and supervision of multiple project personnel. Provide leadership abilities.
Implement effective control methods in the areas of production, scheduling, inspection, testing and safety
-Work in tandem doing all tasks of physical labor including, spraying, troweling, rolling, sandblasting, water blasting, erecting scaffolding, pressure washing, lifting, brushing and other onsite tasks to train and assist crews in the labor pool.
-Supervises and assists in preparation of required records, productions reports, and administrative requirements to include timekeeping, man hour tracking and human resources information.
-Read, review, and discuss with each Foreman the Product Data Sheet for specified systems
-Liaison between inspectors and project managers.
-Order all onsite materials, equipment and arrange shipping/delivery.
-Teach, train and educate with Toolbox topics and coordinate training with the safety director.
-Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other project related software available to industry
-Good communication skills; written and verbal
-Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, technical plans, and project specifications
-Applicants must be located in Florida.
Must Have experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities
Bilingual, is a plus.
