Our woodshop specializes in making custom trims, door frames, and wood panels for cabinetry and closets. Our Largo warehouse is the heart of our operations and we foster a work environment built on safety, trust, and never compromising on these values.
We are seeking a full-time machine operator to join our team. Our ideal candidate has positive vibes, motivated and reliable. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and attention to detail. You'll start off with general shop helper duties, working closely with the team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
You'll quickly transition into a machine operator, operating the Edge Bander machine and or CNC Machine. Ability to pull up programs on the CNC Machine is a plus, not required, as you will learn this in time.
Starting schedule: Monday-Friday 10-00am-6-00pm.
Once you are able to operate the machines independently, you will move to an earlier shift of 6:30am starts.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with the daily operations of the shop.
-Assist in feeding materials into the machine.
-Catching materials as it comes out of the machine.
-Stacking material onto the cart, and pushing cart.
-Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
-Operation of band saw, edge bander, or CNC Machines.
-Pull up programs or adjust programs, set up machine to get ready for runs.
Qualifications:
-Previous woodworking or shop experience.
-Must be eager and willing to learn new things.
-Willingness to be crossed trained in all aspects of production.
-Band saw, edge bander, or CNC machining experience is a plus.
-Must have reliable transportation and ability to commit to the schedule.
-Ability to stand, bend down, push, pull, twist, and lift product weighting up to 70lbs, throughout your shift.
Compensation starts at $18.00/hr with amazing benefits offered after probationary period!
We also offer WEEKLY PAY, direct deposit, and full time schedule! Expected hours: 40 per week.
