Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and computer knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Process outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
Ability to track inventory and maintain accurate records within the warehouse management system.
Assist with order picking and fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping processes and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to lift packages (up to 25 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of order picking, order fulfillment, and distribution center operations is advantageous.
