ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service: Learning and actively participating in setting a high standard in Customer Service

Bookkeeping: To maintain general ledgers and up to date 1099 information and prepare internal financial statements for assigned clients while performing monthly credit card and bank reconciliations.

Payroll To maintain up to date client information, perform accurate deposit calculations, and process payroll with strict adherence to each client's specific payroll schedules, including preparation of payroll returns: 941, 940, RT6 and W3/W2.

Administrative: To stay up to date on changes to QuickBooks and MS Office, create project spreadsheets and correspondence, while representing the company at all times in a friendly and positive manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll and bookkeeping

Tech savvy with working knowledge of virtual desktops

Must be friendly, self starter and problem solver

Extensive knowledge of MS Office

Organized and detail oriented

Accounting degree is preferred, but not required

CPA Firm Experience a plus
