Edmonson Electric Inc., a very stable construction Company with 40 years in the Residential Electrical field, needs a PO Collections Specialist in our Land O Lakes Office.
The Purchase Order (PO) Collections Specialist will facilitate collection Purchase Orders from builders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Requests and pursues Purchase Orders that are owed to the company for work performed via communication with builders.
Must be able to communicate and coordinate with colleagues and customers, as necessary.
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward builders and colleagues at all times.
Maintains log of PO promises and pertinent account details and schedules follow up communication with builders.
Must be able to answer an average of 60-100 e-mails daily in a timely matter.
Be able to communicate and involve the management team with any issues that they are unable to resolve.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to stay calm when customers express frustration over e-mails.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Must have time management skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills, and detailed oriented.
Be able to stay focused on tasks and have the ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication skills including active listening and attentiveness.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of Collections services preferred.
3+ years of Customer service experience required.
2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office
Previous experience in an office or call center preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
