Electrical Prefabrication Manager

We are a W/MBE and DBE-certified electrical contracting corporation experienced in commercial, industrial, residential, and government work. Erwin Electric, Inc. is currently seeking a Prefabrication Manager in the Tampa Bay Area.
Job Description:
As the Electrical Prefabrication Manager, you will start, grow, oversee and manage the prefabrication operations, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure the efficient implementation of prefabrication strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and align their career paths with future opportunities.
Establish and implement measurable goals for team success.
Develop and deploy software solutions for inventory management, product fulfillment, delivery scheduling, and field coordination.
Collaborate with Field Management, Project Managers, and Estimators to identify prefabrication opportunities from project inception.
Partner closely with Field and Project Management throughout projects to optimize prefabrication methodologies.
Conduct quality control and assurance checks on all shop-produced materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate timely product delivery and storage in preparation for field requirements.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and cultivate a culture of safety within the prefabrication department.
Manage tight deadlines effectively, making timely decisions that prioritize quality, safety, and integrity.
Fulfill responsibilities in both office and field environments as necessary.
Qualifications:
Proficient in both prefabrication and office environments.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Strong initiative and adept at initiating projects independently.
Exceptional coaching and team development aptitude.
Insight into how departmental activities contribute to organizational objectives.
Proactive communication abilities to facilitate seamless departmental operations.
Computer literate with proficiency in various software applications and functions.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
10 years of experience in commercial electrical projects.
In lieu of electrical experience, a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or construction project management degree may be considered.
Journeyman or Masters License preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, the NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards (preferred).
5 years of experience in prefabrication (preferred).
5 years of training experience (preferred).
