Full Job Description
Belt is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience as an on-site superintendent. This position will assist our construction manager in estimating, managing and closing out construction projects. Appropriate incentives will be provided for achieving revenue and profitability goals.
Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Belt has provided general contracting services in the Tampa Bay area for over 70 years. Belt Construction provides project management services on commercial and industrial projects. Our personnel are capable of managing small to mid-size commercial, military, religious and theme-park projects.
Responsibilities
Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback to the construction manager.
Monitor and report on project(s) progress.
Collaborate with subcontractors, client, construction manager, engineers, etc to determine project needs.
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
Estimate costs and ensure project is on budget.
Plan inspections with local authorities having jurisdiction
Implement safety and quality guidelines
Ensure the job site remains safe, clean and orderly
Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a construction superintendent or a similar role (Commercial Experience Preferred)
Knowledgeable of local quality, safety and health guidelines for construction job sites
In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
Organizational and time management skills
Knowledgeable in scheduling and estimating
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Driver’s License (Required)
