Busy dermatology practice seeking a full time medical assistant. Our practice is looking to hire an organized, flexible and reliable person.
Requirements:
At least two years of Medical Assistant experience
Must be currently certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant
Travel is required
Job Description: Working one on one with patents reviewing instructions and explaining procedures. Verifying patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit. Must be proficient in learning computer software for EMR and scribing. Assisting doctor in surgeries and/or procedures.
Responsibilities for the medical assistant include assisting the physician and Providers with examinations and dermatological procedures, returning patient phone calls, answering patient questions about medications and wound care, prescription refills, cleaning and restocking examination rooms, insurance authorizations for medications and sterilizing instruments.
Traveling is required
