Operations Manager Job
Overview
The operations manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization runs smoothly and efficiently by overseeing daily activities, optimizing processes, managing resources, and working with the team to achieve business objectives. This role reports directly to the CEO. The business is a fast growing Ecommerce and fulfillment with most of the brands in the golf industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate and execute daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including and not limited to ensuring all ecommerce orders get shipped daily and customer service is managed across all brands.
Implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices
Monitor and analyze operational metrics such as cost, timeliness, and quality to drive performance improvements
Collaborate with other employees in warehouse/office and our contractors.
Oversee supply chain activities, including inventory management and receiving product in the warehouse.
Optimize workflows and processes for cost-effectiveness and productivity
Foster a positive work environment25.
Analyze data and prepare reports for CEO/senior management decision-making
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
Typical Skills and Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with IT systems, databases, and operational software (not limited to Shopify, Zen Desk, Microsoft and google drive, and more)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively
3+ years of relevant management experience
Job Objective
To maintain and enhance organizational efficiency by overseeing daily operations, developing and implementing quality protocols, ensuring compliance, and leading a diverse team to achieve productivity and financial targets.
Work Environment
Operations managers typically work full-time Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm in office / Warehouse settings. The role is dynamic, often requiring interaction with staff, vendors, and leadership, as well as adaptability to shifting business needs.
Hourly Pay
The pay for the Operations Manager position is approximately $25 per hour
