HIRING SAFETY COORDINATORS in FORT LAUDERDALE area, MUST BE at least OSHA 30 and 1+yr of experience in CONSTRUCTION.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions taken
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
