The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all maintenance activities within a high-volume metal forming manufacturing facility. This position provides technical and administrative leadership for maintenance personnel supporting roll forming lines, presses, powder coating systems, electrical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automation equipment, and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures safe, dependable, and efficient operation of production equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs while driving continuous improvement initiatives that maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing performance. The successful candidate will serve as a working leader who develops maintenance personnel, coordinates maintenance resources, and partners with production leadership to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians, electricians, and multi-craft maintenance personnel.  Assign daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders based on production requirements and equipment criticality.  Conduct performance evaluations, skills assessments, and employee development planning.  Ensure proper staffing levels and technical competency to support manufacturing operations.  Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.  Maintenance Management Direct and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all production and facility equipment.  Develop and maintain PM schedules and maintenance standards utilizing the CMMS system.  Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.  Lead troubleshooting efforts during equipment failures and major production interruptions.  Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.  Manage maintenance work order completion, documentation, and follow-up activities.  Technical Equipment Responsibilities Provide leadership and technical support for maintenance activities involving: Roll forming lines and roll tooling systems  Mechanical and hydraulic presses  Powder coating systems and finishing equipment  Conveyor systems and material handling equipment  Hydraulic power units, pumps, valves, and cylinders  Pneumatic controls, air compressors, and distribution systems  Industrial electrical systems up to 480V  PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems  VFDs, motor controls, sensors, relays, and safety circuits  Welding equipment and fabrication machinery  Facility utilities, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure  Reliability & Continuous Improvement Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for recurring equipment failures.  Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered maintenance practices.  Analyze downtime data and establish corrective actions to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).  Develop and track maintenance KPIs including uptime, PM completion rates, MTBF, and maintenance costs.  Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.  Identify and implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.  Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.  Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, arc flash, and confined space procedures.  Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.  Ensure maintenance personnel are properly trained and qualified for assigned tasks.  Maintain compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory standards.
