Job DescriptionA Risk Solutions company is looking for a Java Developer to join their team to support a market intelligence business case. The company is bringing in more insurance data into their Azure data lake. The ideal resource will have 5 years of core Java development experience in an Azure cloud environment with a strong understanding of data manipulation and how large data sets are processed. It is critical that this candidate has excellent communication skills because they will be presenting on stand ups and interacting with high level internal stakeholders. Strong proficiency with data manipulation language (SQL) including optimization techniques. Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.
