Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk based in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will be immersed in a wide range of tasks, including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Engage with customers through emails to address any issues with their applications Accurately scan and process applications received via mail Ensure the accurate processing of physical checks in Munis Utilize downtime to assist with the collection process, if necessary Maintain a fast-paced work environment, ensuring efficiency and productivity Utilize accounting software systems to manage and monitor customer accounts Employ computerized billing systems to effectively manage customer bills Leverage your skills in accounting functions to ensure accurate and efficient processing Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure financial accuracy Answer inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving customer inquiries. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Knowledge and experience in Computerized Billing is essential. Familiarity with basic Accounting Functions is a must. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed. Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently.
