Description The successful candidate will work on multiple web-based Java applications. The technology stack the role requires familiarity with includes Apache Tapestry, Java, Spring, Hibernate, and MYSQL. These applications operate on servers situated on-premise, as well as on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.Requirements Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Understanding and analyzing client needs. Developing efficient, high-quality Java-based software. Designing, constructing, testing and maintaining applications across all stages of the SDLC. Proposing software solutions to accommodate emerging needs. Carrying out software updates, addressing security vulnerabilities, and performing code reviews. Coordinating with internal teams to perform production releases. Mentoring and assisting less experienced developers in the team. Communicating effectively with development, QA, release, product, and support teams. Working alongside third-party vendors to achieve integrated solutions. Documenting relevant processes and features.Required Skills: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. At least 7 years experience working as a full stack developer. A minimum of 7 years experience with Java, JEE, Spring, and Hibernate. At least 7 years of experience working with RDBMS (MySQL preferred). A minimum of 7 years experience in web development. Experience and knowledge of build and releases processes. Familiarity with Tomcat and Apache. Proven experience with web services. Experience working with Azure and AWS Cloud Environments. Knowledge and practical use of Unix commands for code deployments and troubleshooting. The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and produce high-quality code. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills: Knowledge of Linux, MSSQL, Java Profiling, Performance Tuning, Advanced Caching Methods, and Database query optimization would be beneficial.Preferred Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
