Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced small company controller for a long-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the business' financial activities including month-end close, accounts payable, executing PO 3-way match, handling accounts receivable, and conducting routine reconciliation tasks.The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP Business ByDesign and excellent cross-functional teamwork skills. You must demonstrate the ability to work independently, efficiently prioritize tasks, and effectively handle multiple assignments to meet stringent deadlines.Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations including accounts payable and receivable. Assisting in the successful implementation and transition to SAP Business by Design. Working as a team and independently to efficiently meet deadlines and objectives without supervision. Utilizing strong reconciliation skills to ensure all financial data is accurate. Leveraging expertise in SAP and QuickBooks to optimize accounting processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to optimize financial processes and provide comprehensive financial updates. Conducting regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies. Providing support to other accounting staff as needed. Ensuring all financial operations align with current financial legislation.Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience in a similar role. In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with SAP Business ByDesign and QuickBooks. Deep knowledge of all financial procedures, from budget preparation to tax processes. Exceptional skills in conducting detailed financial analysis and creating reports. Proficiency in managing and overseeing project financial records. Strong familiarity with reconciliations and financial discrepancies identification. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects. Strong communication skills for reporting financial information to management. Ability to work within a team and independently when required. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks. Possess strong ethical standards and integrity in all work-related decisions and actions.
