Lucas Group has partnered with our SaaS client in Atlanta on their search for a Senior Software Engineer. They are looking for a senior engineer to come in to lead and mentor more junior engineers as well as design and build cutting edge AI and ML software.



Scope of Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to new engineering processes and systems that will allow the team to scale in the future.

  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and code highly scalable machine learning applications that process large volumes of data.

  • Work cross functional with internal teams, product support, product management, delivery management to meet deadlines.




Skills Needed:


  • 5-7+ years of experience in software design and development using a diverse set of programming languages, frameworks and systems.

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: Java, C#, Python, NodeJS, PERL

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure

  • Strong experience in RESTful API and miscroservices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL relational databases and NoSQL databases




Educational & Work Requirements:


  • Degree: BS in Computer Science or related field

  • Work Experience: 5+ years in software development
